Faith Foundations is a 4-week study designed to help you build lasting confidence in your faith — by studying the Bible the way it was meant to be studied.
Using the Look → Learn → Live method, you’ll move beyond simply reading Scripture to truly understanding and applying it.

Each week includes:

• A main passage and supporting verses

• Guided worksheets using the Look → Learn → Live approach

• Reflection prompts for personal growth

• A summary section to connect the week’s theme

• Optional discussion questions for small groups

Perfect for personal Bible study and journaling, women’s or mixed small groups, church classes or discipleship groups, and new believer follow-ups or mentoring.

What You’ll Learn

Each week focuses on one foundational truth of the Christian faith:

Week 1 — God Made Me on Purpose
(Psalm 139, Jeremiah 1:5, Ephesians 2:10, Genesis 1:26–27)
Discover God’s intentional design for your life and what it means to bear His image.

Week 2 — I Belong to God
(Romans 8:15–17, John 1:12–13, 1 Corinthians 6:19–20, Galatians 4:6–7)
Find confidence in your identity as God’s child — chosen, redeemed, and secure.

Week 3 — I’m Valuable to God
(Matthew 10:29–31, Luke 12:6–7, Zephaniah 3:17, Isaiah 43:1–4)
See how much God values you — not for what you do, but for who you are in Him.

Week 4 — I Have a New Identity
(2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 2:20, Ephesians 4:22–24, Colossians 3:9–10)
Learn what it means to live as a new creation, walking confidently in Christ

A Note from Ellen

When I first created the Look → Learn → Live method, it was to help our junior high students learn to study the Bible with confidence. Watching them grasp truth for themselves reminded me that every believer — no matter their age — needs simple tools to help them build a solid foundation in Scripture.

That’s what Faith Foundations is all about: slowing down, studying deeply, and living out what you learn.
